Most people are right handed. Most people also are right eye dominant. Some people are left handed, and most of them are also left eye dominant. And some people are none of the above.
Learning which eye is your dominant eye and using that to your advantage can be difficult if you are cross dominant. So if you are left eye dominant and right handed, or right eye dominant and left handed, you will face some specific challenges.
In the end you are going to have to choose between using your strong eye and your weak hand or vice-a-versa. Let me recommend to you that you use the strong eye. Unless you have some very severe disability that prevents you from using the weak hand with the strong eye. In that case, we will have to do our best to train your weak eye.
For those of you that are not cross dominant, it is important to train on the weak side as well. Not necessarily for competition purposes, but if you are training for the worst case scenario…this is it. And it can be a humbling experience, which might also allow you to learn more about how to shoot properly with your preferred eye and hand.
